The free HOOPS 3D Stream Control is a multi-threaded ActiveX plug-in offering advanced streaming, visualization, and annotation of 2D and 3D model data from within the Microsoft Internet Explorer Browser. This control also may be embedded and used in any compatible Microsoft Office application such as Word, PowerPoint or Excel.

- Features. Users get a menu of tools by right clicking on the model in the Stream Control. Features include the following:
- Playback, pause, rewind and stop animations.
- Immediate navigation of models while data is still streaming.
- Orbit, rotate, pan, zoom and reset camera position.
- Render modes for smooth shaded, wireframe and hidden-line.
- Change window color, add shadows and perform anti-aliasing.
- Annotation of models using true 3D text.
