TS3D Integrates Spatial’s 3D InterOp Translator Components with UGS’ Parasolid 3D Geometric Kernel Modeler
Integration brings leading translation technology to Parasolid developer community
Berkeley, CA – July 6, 2006 – Tech Soft 3D (TS3D), a leading provider of premier development tools, training and consulting to the engineering software industry today announced the completion of their integration between Spatial’s 3D InterOp translator components and UGS’ Parasolid® 3D geometric kernel modeler. This integration provides Parasolid-based applications with a suite of robust tools that enable the direct import of many of today’s most popular CAD formats including Dassault’s native CATIA v5 data access technology. In addition to the integration with Parasolid, these translators may also be used along with TS3D’s HOOPS 3D Application Framework for building visualization applications with extensive data import capabilities.
Formats supported as part of this integration include native CATIA v5, CATIA v4, UGS’ NX™ and Pro/Engineer Wildfire, along with the neutral IGES, STEP, VDA-FS and SAT formats. Support for native SolidWorks and Inventor will soon be added in an upcoming release.
